Nice work L. I noticed your comment to Cooper and I like doing 6" x 6" as they have all the challenges of a larger canvas but very quick to produce. Then with the successful ones, larger ones can sometimes be made. It's also a great way to get experience with mixing colors, and producing a composition that works. All good lessons if you're starting out! I like using large brushes too and not worrying about fussy details.
Candy, Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure with my shaky hands I can do ones too small. I am just starting out. My hands are getting better which is great. Laurie
I have no formal training. Have had one class and watched a couple tapes on oil painting. I started painting when my hands started to shake & I was having dexterity problems. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I am rather unusual as I paint from a wheelchair & often with 2 hands.
